It is with regret that we have to announce the death of Ian Kinloch.

Ian has been a stalwart of the Management Committee for many years and more recently the Vice President 2020-2022. Ian took over the Vice Presidents role during a period of uncertainty in the Association after several high profile resignations and the outbreak of Covid. He very rarely missed a meeting and always had an input in discussions and was never found wanting when volunteers were required.

He will be well respected in wider bowling circles. He served as Vice President of Huddersfield Bowling Association and was their representative at YCCGBA meetings. For many years he was the club representative for Lindley Libs and as our picture shows the captain of their 2018 Julie Fuller Trophy winning team. More recently he has been bowling for Marsh United in their 6-man team.

He will be sadly missed.
