The Pairs finals was a closely fought event played out under beautiful skies. The quality and closeness of play provided a great afternoons entertainment for everyone who turned out at Almondbury.

The winning Waterloo pairing of Ian Lunn and Alan Stephenson added a new name to the shield with this being Ian’s first crack at the competition, however Alan notched up his second win having lifted the shield as an Almondbury Liberal player back in 2011.
