26 Mar 10-MAN FIXTURES ANNOUNCEMENT

With the withdrawal of two teams in Section 5 our previous plan was to have a 10 team division with mini promotion and wooden spoon leagues at the end of the regular season giving all teams 22 games.

It’s egg on face time now!

Unfortunately we have been unable to make this work after spending oodles of time working on the fixture list. The problem being that 6 out of the 10 teams had home and away games fixed by A teams spread across Sections 1-4 and only 4 teams were flexible on their dates so no matter how we juggled the fixtures it just couldn’t work.

The Management Committee have therefore decided that a further team drop down from Section 4 into Section 5 to create 2 x 11 team Sections each playing 20 games, with 1 team in each section having two byes throughout the season. We are indebted to New Mill B team for agreeing to drop a division.
