08 May INTER-DISTRICT FIXTURES RELEASED

Bowlsnet now has the fixtures for the 2021 season but as yet the venues haven’t been decided. Only six districts are competing this year, Castleford and Wakefield have both withdrawn. The districts are:

• Bradford
• Halifax
• Huddersfield
• Leeds
• Skipton
• West Riding

The first match is Friday 11 June and the final match Friday 27 August. In order to facilitate the final match on a suitable date for all the districts Huddersfield have agreed to re-arrange Section 1 & 2 fixtures scheduled for that date to Friday 10 September. A reminder of this change will be communicated nearer the date.

Huddersfield are hosting the Hickson Trophy this year and we’re hoping to have 8 teams competing, that’s those in the Inter-District League plus Barnsley and Sheffield who have both accepted our invitation. The date will be Friday 9 July.

In order for Captains and Managers to finalise their squads it is intended to hold a pre-season get together on Friday 4th June at Meltham S&SC starting 1.30 pm. All 2019 players and any 65-year-old (or over) who wishes to represent Huddersfield at this level are invited to attend.
