28 Aug HUDDERSFIELD WIN INTER-DISTRICT LEAGUE
Friday 27 August 2021 saw the final round of games in the 2021 Yorkshire Veterans Inter-District league which saw a reduced number of teams competing after the withdrawal of Leeds, Castleford and Wakefield.
Huddersfield started the campaign with a bye so round by round they were playing catch-up with the other teams and finished with a narrow win over Halifax whom Huddersfield needed to score at least 16 points against to secure the title for the second year running. The final score was 29-27 to Huddersfield and left the league table looking like this:
