09 Sep HUDDERSFIELD RECREATION OVERTURN THE ODDS – IN STYLE

Huddersfield Recreation, the current Section 4 leaders beat Lowerhouses, the current Section 3 leaders, convincingly in the Sub-Team Knockout played at Broad Oak BC.

The Rec got off to a flying start with 3 wins out of the first four singles and held a 24 point lead at the half-way stage. Lowerhouses’s pairs showed signs of a strong comeback but eventually all three pairs succumbed to the might of the Rec who ran out comfortable winners not needing the 5 start from the handicaps.
