16 Aug FINAL 2022 MATCH

Huddersfield play the final match in the Yorkshire Inter-District Veterans League on Friday 19 August against Halifax with only the runners-up spot to play for. West Riding have finished their campaign with 220 points in the bank, Halifax are currently second placed on 170 and Huddersfield in third place on 162 points. With 56 points available per match West Riding can only be caught by Halifax and that would need Huddersfield to capitulate on Friday which isn’t going to happen, second place is very much up for grabs for both teams so it promises to be a hum dinger of a contest.

The matches kick-off at 1 pm.

We hope to see as many supporters as possible cheering on the Huddersfield team but we’re sure it will be a good natured contest with many Halifax players competing in the top divisions of our leagues.
