15 Sep FIRST TROPHY IN THE BAG FOR LINTHWAITE HALL

Linthwaite Hall Bowling Club won what could be the first part of a treble in the Sub Team Knockout final at Broad Oak.

On a cool but fine day they were emphatic winners over Marsh Libs who themselves can take credit for punching above their weight in earlier rounds.

The competition is sponsored by Croftlands Care Home and the Association welcomed staff and residents to watch the match and tea in the club which all enjoyed.

Linthwaite now go on to take on the mighty Lockwood Con in the Bistro final on Thursday 22 September at Brockholes BC and are within a cats whisker of winning the Division 3 title all in their first year back into the league – quite an achievement.
