The fixtures for the Yorkshire Inter-District Veterans League have now been published on Bowlsnet. 2023 sees the return of Leeds to the fold so we have a league of 8 districts without any byes this year.

The fixtures for Huddersfield are:

Friday 5 May versus Skipton

Friday 19 May versus Castleford

Friday 9 June versus West Riding (the current champions)

Friday 16 June versus Wakefield

Fridays 7 and 14 July allocated to the Hickson Trophy being hosted by Halifax

Friday 28 July Leeds

Friday 11 August versus Bradford

Friday 1 September versus Halifax

The matches will start at 1 pm and the venues are still to be determined. Huddersfield had a very good following last season but it didn’t stop the team slumping to fourth in the league after a champion season in 2021. Let’s get behind the team and lift them to where they belong.
