29 May TRY BOWLING PROMOTION

Huddersfield Bowls Development, an initiative from this association, are holding their next Try Bowling event in Greenhead Park on Sunday 18 June.

The last two events have been blighted by awful weather and the last event also clashed with Huddersfield Towns last match of  the season. HBD are appealing to all the associations and leagues that they represent to help promote the next events. They’re looking for a good cross section of our society, not just 60 year-old males. Whoever they recruit will become a veteran in the fullness of time!

Will all bowlers please promote the event in their locality, see if you can get posters in shop windows and doctors notice boards and if there’s any social media activity use that to promote it too, the more the merrier and we need to do it to preserve the sport that we all love.
