23 Jul WHAT WE DO FOR OUR SPORT!

The writer attended the most recent TRY BOWLING event in Greenhead Park on 23 July, the fourth of 5 scheduled dates and the third to be blighted by atrocious weather.

It was looking fairly forlorn but two ladies did attend after seeing a promotion and they were willing to battle the elements and pick-up a set of woods and abandon their umbrella. They seemed very interested in taking up the sport, but in better weather so they’ll be invited to attend our final event on Monday 28 August and any other suitable events for new bowlers – have any clubs anything planned?
