29 May OVER 70’s TROPHY FINAL

Thursday 30 May is the final day of the Over 70’s Trophy at Lockwood Conservative Club, start time 1.30 pm.
This will be our second final of the season after an excellent Pairs comp at Almondbury Liberal Club. It’s also one of our oldest competitions run since 1987 when the first winner was a Mr B. Rangeley. I’m sure that name will ring a few bells and there’s a Mr P. Rangeley in the line up tomorrow.
The quarter-finals are:
Dennis Lomax (6) vs Mick Wenzel (4)
David Peacock (5) vs Keith Hilton (4)
Tim Poulter (Scr) vs Malcolm Gilbert (Scr)
Paul Rangeley (2) vs Mick Cox (-1)
The competition is sponsored by Lockwood Con and they’re all set up to deliver a super final so let’s get down there and give them some support.
