11 Jun HUDDERSFIELD vs HALIFAX

The next round of the Yorkshire Inter-District league is Friday 12 June when Huddersfield take on Halifax. Neither team have made an auspicious start to the 2026 season but both are or were considered challengers but may now be playing for a runners-up spot because the competition at the top between Leeds and West Riding is so tough.

Huddersfield have changed their home venue to Lowerhouses where visitors would be welcome but are reminded that there is no parking next to the green but available nearby on the road side. The team is in no particular order Mick Chapman, Martyn Skuse, Robert Spencer, Andrew Wike, Andy Carter, Graham Sigsworth (captain), Robert Dickinson, Adrian Cooper.

The Away team play at the picturesque Luddenden Foot Bowling Club, HX2 6AF and is Garry Senior, Stuart Greaves, Malcolm Gilbert (captain), Edwin Haigh, Tim Poulter, Andy Lumb, Steve Mallinson, Derek Hewitt.
