After a mid-season and Hickson Trophy break from the Inter-District league it resumes on Friday 24 July with a game against Wakefield.

The Home team have opted once again to play at Hemplow and the team is Andy Wike, Mick Chapman, Peter Fuller, Robert Dickinson, Ray Whitwam, Robert Spencer, Adrian Cooper, Martin Skuse. Reverves Stephen Haigh and Graham Sigsworth.

The Away team play at Outwood WMC, WF1 2NS and the team is Steve Haigh, Tim Poulter, Dave Pollard, Derek Hewitt, Malcolm Gilbert (c), Ed Haigh, Andy Lumb and Ian Ross. Reserve Steve Mallinson.

A good result this week will put Huddersfield back in the race for a second or third place finish this season after the last set-back against West Riding. The team have the fourth highest points per game record with both Bradford and Leeds still to play. At the end of the season with when all the teams have played the same number of games that is what will count.
