18 Jan RESPONSE TO TEAM INTENTIONS QUESTIONNAIRE

48 letters were sent to club representatives in December requesting team intentions for 2021, approval of new bye-laws and confirming club reps for 2021. We had a superb response and had the information that needed a week before the deadline. This is how the voting went:

34 voted for the new bye-laws

7 voted to retain the 2020 bye-laws

2 teams asked for amendments

1 team withdrew from the association – Marsden Park

4 didn’t vote

We had one team withdrawing from the 10 man sections – Meltham C team. Two teams withdrew from the 6 man sections – Lockwood Cons and Marsden Park whilst Holmfirth Bowling Club entered a second 6 man team so overall a net loss of 1 team.

We are really pleased that under these awful conditions we have only lost 1 team from the 10 man sections and 1 team from the 6 man sections.
