The Association has refined its position on adverse weather conditions that are forecast for Monday and Tuesday 18 and 19 July.

ALL HVBA FIXTURES ARE POSTPONED ON THE ABOVE DATES

Fixtures may be re-arranged between captains and the fixture completed before 16 August. All fixtures not played by that date will be rescheduled on Monday and Tuesday, 3 and 4 October.

Teams have 28 days from 19 July to re-arrange and play the fixture. Please ensure your captains and players are aware of this ruling which has been made in the best interest of veteran bowlers.

This advice updates the advice given to club representatives on Thursday 17 July where the Association were classing the current heatwave as ‘bad weather’ which is covered by our Bye Laws but we are extending the re-arrangement period.
