04 Aug ALL LIBERAL TEAM KNOCKOUT FINAL

Lindley Libs and Golcar Libs both qualified today for the team knockout final.

Longwood Bowling Club were beaten by Lindley Libs A team who played off a handicap of 5 but that wasn’t needed with such an emphatic win 143-101 in favour of Lindley. Meanwhile Golcar Libs beat Lockwood Con in a tightly fought affair winning out 122-118 with both teams off scratch.

The two beaten teams were last year’s finalists so we’ll have new champions on 18 August. Neither of the two finalist are new to winning this prestigious team trophy. Lockwood Con seemed to have a stranglehold on the trophy in the last few years so are we seeing a swing from Conservatives to Liberals?

The all liberal club final will take place at Lindley Bowling Club on Thursday 18 August with Lindley carrying their handicap of 5 through to the final day.
