09 Mar ANOTHER NEW COMMITTEE MEMBER

The HVBA Management Committee have welcomed another new member in Peter Allen of Hemplow Bowling Club.

Peter has been playing bowls now for three years and is enjoying it immensely. His game has improved over this time and who knows the heights he’ll achieve if he takes advantage of the qualified coaching that the association are helping to develop.

He is hoping that by joining the committee he will gain an insight into the running of the association and as a relative newcomer to the sport he can give a different perspective which will help us develop our sport. He is also a member of the committee at Hemplow where he has been given the honour of being captain of the 10-man B team. If you happen to come across him on the bowling green say hello and give him your views on the game in general and how our association should move forward.
