Defending Champs feature in tie of the round

DEFENDING Team Knock-out champions Longwood will face 2024 Division 1 Champions Lowerhouses in the tie of the round – if not the competition – as the 2025 Team Knock-out draw for the opening round is announced.

The pair were drawn together when general secretary John Pearman and competitions secretary Paul English conducted the draw recently. They will face each other on Tuesday 22 April.

Ironically no teams from the top division had been drawn together until the powerhouse pair were left as the last two teams in the bag. The only two teams drawn together from the same division are Springwood and Holmfirth A – the division 3 pair will face each other in the opening round.

Defeated finalists Cowcliffe will face Hemplow A, Cowcliffe are the only team with a scratch handicap in the top half of the draw.
