The date is Friday 3 May, the venue Meltham S&SC and the time is 1 pm and Huddersfield line-up against Skipton.

The home team squad is Alan Bamforth, John Bloomer, Andy Carter, Tony Cross, Ashley Daykin, Robert Dickinson, Stephen Haigh, Peter Kain, Ray Whitwam and Andy Wike.

The Manager is David Armitage and non-playing captain Frank Greenwood.

The away team squad travel to Crosshills, Junction, Crosshills BD20 7DD and is Adrian Cooper, Tony Butterfield, Malcolm Gilbert (captain), Edwin Haigh, Derek Hewitt, Peter Hopkinson, Dave Pollard, Tim Poulter, Gary Senior and Roger Stopford.

The Manager is Alan Sharpe.

Skipton finished the 2023 season third bottom so Huddersfield will be looking for a resounding win in order to challenge for honours again this year but can’t take anything for granted, the old football adage of one game at a time prevails. They would, however, welcome as much support as possible around the green at what is a relatively new home venue.
