04 Aug HUDDERSFIELD vs SKIPTON

This Friday, 6 August, Huddersfield’s home team entertain Skipton whilst the away team are playing at Skipton Craven.

The home fixture is being hosted by Thongsbridge Bowling Club, the match starts at 1 pm. The bar will be open and refreshments available. Overflow car parking is available at the adjacent tennis club.

Both teams have played the green before in 2021, Skipton played their quarter-final match against Bradford in the Hickson Trophy whilst Huddersfield despatched  West Riding in round 3 of the Yorkshire County Veterans Inter-District League. Victory for Huddersfield will set them up nicely for the final match of the season versus Halifax which could be the title decider.

Let’s have some banter around the green, but please respect the opposition as Halifax, West Riding and Bradford all have bowlers playing in our league, and dig deep for Alan and Sue Hirst when they come around for the raffle.
