08 Jul Important update for competition entrants

Rosebowl and Lower Divisions Individual Trophy.

A record number of teams and fixtures resulted in a very full 2024 league calendar with limited days free for competitions. To fit everything in, some rounds of the Rosebowl and the Lower Divisions Individual Trophy were set to play on the same day – which meant lower divisions bowlers having to choose which competition to enter. This approach was based on the possibility of both competitions attracting more than 32 entrants, however the low number of entries received to date suggests this is unlikely, at least for the LDI Trophy. If fewer rounds are needed this will remove the need for shared dates. The position will be confirmed once the closing date for entries is reached on 26th July and exact numbers are known. In the meantime any lower divisions bowler who would have liked to enter both competitions is encouraged to do so in anticipation of there being separate days for each.  Important – all entrants to these competitions must continue to keep all of the published dates free in their diaries for now.
