26 Apr INTER-DISTRICT LEAGUE TAKING SHAPE

The format of the inter-district league has taken a long time coming due to the break last year and illness of key movers in the league.

The matches will start at the beginning of June and will be completed mid-August with just 6 teams competing this year:

• Bradford
• Halifax
• Huddersfield
• Leeds
• Skipton
• West Riding

Fixtures will be published in the next few days as there are still one or two dates to be resolved.

The Hickson Trophy will be hosted this year by Huddersfield and the date has been fixed for 9 July so don’t you elite bowlers book any holidays! The six teams above will be competing plus Sheffield who have already confirmed and hopefully Barnsley.

The dates you see in the Year Book which is due to be published this week have been tweaked a little so check with Bowlsnet and this website for the accurate dates and venues.
