23 Dec MERRY CHRISTMAS BOWLERS

The Huddersfield Veterans Bowling Association wish all our bowlers a wonderful Christmas and we look forward to a 2023 season.

Although we’re only half way through our seasonal break the officers of the association are beavering away in preparation for an early start in 2023 which begins with our AGM on Monday 20 February, at 2 pm in Meltham S&CC. Alan Stephenson, our treasurer, is polishing off the year end accounts in readiness for the meeting whilst David Sykes is again organising the league fixtures whilst our new competition secretary Steve Lee is getting to grips with the challenge aided by David Sykes. We have almost all team intentions in and are just waiting for a few stragglers who have until 9 January to submit. Meanwhile, the writer (our general secretary) is starting work on the Year Book which includes finding a new printer and more advertisers.
