Playing at Almondbury Bowling Club the team is:
A Carter, P Kain, S Haigh, J Bloomer, R Dickinson, R Whitwam, A Cross, G Sigsworth, Reserves: A Wike, A Bamforth, non-playing Captain F Greenwood, Manager David Armitage.

Our disappointing result against West Riding has given Huddersfield a mountain to climb now with only two matches to play if they are to finish in the money this season. Huddersfield are now 7 points in second place behind Halifax but West Riding are only a further 7 points behind with a game in hand. There are 56 points at stake in every match with 20 points aggregate at stake at both venues, only an emphatic win against Bradford will keep the Huddersfield season alive. Halifax still have what must be considered an outside chance but are pinning their hopes of other teams challenging West Riding.
