26 Jul Norman Priestly notches up another win as he celebrates reaching his 90th

Congratulations to Norman Priestly of Netherton Con who this week was presented with a 90th Achievement Certificate. Norman has some 20 years experience and is still bowling on a regular basis, so President Frank Greenwood was hoping to catch up with him at his home ground following a 10-man match. Frank arrived to find the green deserted and was worried he’d missed everyone, but he soon discovered the team having some deserved celebratory refreshments in the club house. Norman had won his game 21-20, helping the team to a 9-0 overall win. Pictured is Norman receiving his certificate from Frank alongside the victorious team.
