What is your club doing to recruit new members? Not just veteran bowlers, and not just male bowlers but ‘bowlers’ and fee paying members.

The Bowls Development Alliance are announcing a national scheme to promote bowling. This will take place over the spring bank holiday weekend 28-31 May.

Would your club like new members? Most clubs would and increasing membership is the only we can ensure the sport we love survives and we don’t lose any more bowling greens. Could your club take advantage of the national publicity and organise open days with free taster sessions? Why not jump on the bandwagon and give it a try, you’ve nothing to lose. The whole country is wanting to get back to doing things and why shouldn’t bowling be one of those things to attract new people to bowling.
