The John Hoyle Trophy is the finale to our season and will be played Friday 30 September at Huddersfield Recreation in honour of our dearly departed President.
The trophy has replaced our Select Players trophy and is competed for by current and ex inter-district players. 2021 saw Mick Cox play 4 matches to lift the trophy which was a magnificent achievement but we felt too much for veteran bowlers. This year we will have a preliminary round on 16 September playing down to 8 for the final day, again at Huddersfield Recreation.
The entry fee is £5 and all proceeds from the two days will be donated to Kirkwood Hospice as is the wish of John’s family.
