SIX MAN OPENING FIXTURES ANNOUNCED

The Huddersfield Veterans Bowling Association 6-man competition has had a revamp ahead of the 2025 season with five teams joining.

 That has seen the competition extended over four divisions with the opening fixtures commencing on 7th April 2025.

Marsh United A are the defending champions and they start their season with a trip to face Skelmanthorpe Windmill A. Waterloo, runners-up to Marsh United A, are at home to Brockholes A.

Promoted Clayton West A – champions of Division 2 in 2024 – travel to Slaithwaite while New Mill A, also promoted, will be hosted by Netherton Con A.

Broad Oak, a new team to the 6-man game, have been placed in Division 2 and will be at Thongsbridge B who were promoted as runners-up at the end of the 2024 season. Division 3 champions Brockholes B will entertain local rivals Holmfirth A.

The four other new teams start in Division 4; Clayton West B entertain Skelmanthorpe Windmill B, Hemplow B will have home advantage against Greenhead Park A, Netherton Con B are at Brockholes C with New Mill B having a bye in the opening round.
