We’re into September and it’s the business end of the season and we have another Final day on Thursday 14 September at Broad Oak, 1.30 pm.

We have Outlane vs Huddersfield Recreation, both in Division 3 and both off 5 handicap but in very different positions with Huddersfield Recreation clinging onto life in Division 3 and Outlane well positioned just outside the promotion zone. Both teams are recent winners of this trophy, Huddersfield Recreation as recently as 2021 and Outlane not so long ago as 2016.

The final is usually held at Broad Oak where the association welcome residents of Croftlands Care Home who are generous sponsors of HVBA. Broad Oak put on a wonderful spread for both the residents and spectators and it’s always a well supported final played to the same format as the 10-man league matches but won by the highest aggregate.
