Sidney Goodwin and George Cushing have a combined age of 189 years between them and still going strong in the Meltham 6-man team.
And a tip for anyone playing them – don’t take them in the corners! They can reach alright and you may live to regret your choice of bowl. The two gentlemen are both highly competitive and will be featuring in the first round of the over 80’s competition on 30 July.
