VIEWS ON START DATES FOLLOWING PM’S ANNOUNCEMENT

The management committee are meeting again on Monday 1st March to hopefully determine the start dates for league bowling and competition dates. The Prime Minister is making an announcement as we draft this post so bowlers will have a better feel for when we can start.

The normal procedure following an announcement of this magnitude is that the government issue guidelines to all sporting bodies which are usually several hundred pages. The British CGBA will digest what the government guidelines mean to bowling and issue guidelines to clubs in the next few days.

By the end of March all bowlers in our league will have been offered or received at least the first vaccination, many will have had their second jab.

The association would love to know your views prior to meeting next Monday and would encourage you to use our Forum. If you haven’t already done so the Registration to contribute to forum posts is really easy. Club reps may also canvas their members and give a club view. So far only 8 club reps have registered so will the other 40 please make an effort to do so?
